Why we love it: This coffee has a lot going on and completely unique flavors that shine through. Completely different to all of our other Single Origins. Aromatics of Brown Spice, dried fruit, viscous mouthfeel with a clean flavor that transitions into a mulled wine flavor with a creamy lingering aftertaste.
A NOTE ON OUR GROUND COFFEES: We grind our Coffees for Espresso, French Press, Moka Pot, Brewers and Pour-Overs based on industry norms for brew methods. All coffee brewing equipment may vary and it is not possible to guarantee it will be the perfect grind for your equipment. We do not exchange pre-ground coffees and recommend your purchasing a grinder for home use, which you can refine and dial in your perfect grind.
PROCESS
Red cherries from small holder lots were selected to prepare this special process.
The yeast was rehydrated with 1 to 160 green coffee ratio.
The mixture was poured over the coffee beans to evenly soak the cherry in a plastic barrel. After 96 hours of fermentation, the cherry was transferred to raised African drying beds for 21 days.
